NCHS Releases Provisional 2020 Child Birth Data

The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) has just released provisional 2020 births data. Births: Provisional Data for 2020 compares national data on births from 2019 and 2020 by maternal age, race, and Hispanic origin. The total number of births in the United States in 2020 was 3,605,201, down 4% from 2019.
